WHAT IS RAINMAKER?

A SMARTER APPROACH
TO PRODUCED WATER MANAGEMENT

Rainmaker is an on-site produced water evaporation system engineered specifically for oilfield operations. Using advanced evaporation technology, Rainmaker significantly reduces produced water volumes at the wellsite or SWD - reducing the amount of water that must be transported and disposed of.

Compact, energy-efficient and scalable, Rainmaker integrates with existing oilfield infrastructure with minimal site requirements. Multiple units can operate in parallel to accommodate higher water volumes.

THE RAINMAKER ADVANTAGE

01

REDUCED
WATER DISPOSAL

Evaporate produced water on-site, reducing the volume requiring conventional disposal.

02

FEWER
TRUCK MILES

Reduce water hauling requirements, associated transportation costs and truck traffic.

03

LOWER
EMISSIONS

Less transportation means fewer associated carbon emissions and a smaller environmental footprint.

04

LOW
ENERGY DEMAND

Approximately 50 HP total power delivers efficient produced water volume reduction.

05

SCALABLE
BY DESIGN

Deploy multiple Rainmaker units in parallel to accommodate higher produced water volumes.

06

MINIMAL
INFRASTRUCTURE

IS RAINMAKER RIGHT FOR YOUR OPERATION?

Rainmaker is designed for oilfield operations where produced water volumes, transportation requirements and disposal costs create operation and economic challenges. Certain site conditions can make Rainmaker particularly advantageous.

HIGH PRODUCED
WATER VOLUMES

Operations managing sufficient volumes of water can use individual Rainmaker units or multiple units to scale evaporation capacity.

HIGH DISPOSAL &
HAULING COSTS

Rainmaker is particularly well suited for operations where trucking and conventional water disposal costs are above market or where disposal options are limited.

WARM PRODUCED
WATER

Produced water temperature is the strongest driver of evaporation performance. Operations with warmer subsurface water can achieve higher evaporation rates.

REMOTE OR
CONSTRAINED LOCATIONS

For operations where transporting produced water to disposal facilities is costly or inefficient, on-site evaporation can reduce the volume of water that needs to leave the site.
